Warmth

The sun is shining  The wind is blowing  I feel the sun warm on my back.   
My feet in the water  Surrounded by beauty  I jump in without turning back.   
First I pick and step  And I’m cautious  But I soon forget all of that.   
I’m laughing and singing  I’m playing and splashing  I’m lost in what I’m looking at.   
The water is cold  But I don’t care  I’m having too much fun to see.   
I swim to the shore  And I sit there and laugh  At this feeling growing inside of me.

ok.... so the summer wasnt wasted. im getting my liscence sometime in the next few weeks, i dont remember the date, so drivers ed wasnt a Total waste. and tennis is actually turning out to be Fun so thats ok (besides the freaking running, i almost died today of hyperventilation) and something Very good came out of it all about the week right before school started, so im quite content. :D

speaking of content.... if any of you people have read and/or seen my poem "content".... i talk about laying in a patch of sunlight and how i was longing to actually be content.... well ive found my patch of sunlight now. :D and its even making my busy schedule with school seem ok. so im happy to just bask here until my sun leaves. and i know ill be happy still.
